Leak detection equipment represents a significant capital investment. It should be regularly serviced to ensure effective leak-finding capability.

As part of our commitment to meeting the needs of customers, Halma Water Management offers an on-site equipment calibration, maintenance and repair service. Equipment covered by this service includes correlators, noise loggers, ground microphones, electronic listening sticks and step-testing systems. A minimum of five items per site is required. Palmer Environmental’s service van is equipped with all the necessary test instrumentation traceable to national standards.
- No requirement for packaging and despatching the equipment to Palmer or for insuring the equipment during transit - we will come to your site and carry out the work.
- Little or no downtime - equipment is serviced on the day and is immediately available for use.
- Economies of scale - the more units available for service the less the costs per unit. And no carriage costs.
- Documentation for Quality Assurance - certificates are issued for items calibrated.
- Regular servicing of equipment extends its working life.
- Palmer’s Service Engineers can advise users on aspects of routine maintenance.
