Pulse Receiver

Overview

Radio-Tech’s pulse receiver is a card format receiver that permits meter reading from up to 8 transmitters to be interfaced into 3rd party data loggers or metering systems. The receiver is available in both 8 channel or 3 channel versions. For larger sites, multiple units can be purchased.

In operation, the receiver has been tailored to fit within the requirements of the AMR and sub-metering industries. The receiver firmware supports the programming and decoding of up to eight unique transmitter addresses that can be selected from within our 16 million address range.

The pulse receiver counts pulse signals as they are detected. At the end of a user selected time period, the new count is transmitted to the required output module.

The receiver should be operated from a battery backed power supply, this is essential as power failure will cause a loss of pulse counts.
