Water Hammer causes noise and maintenance issues

Pressure surges can be caused by many different sources such as PRV control valves and restrictions in nearly closed gate/shut off valves. Identifying the source of the noise is often difficult, and moreover difficult to quantify improvements.

Radcom's MultiLog data loggers can be used to record sample intervals down to 1 reading per second.
		Radcom's more specialised "Pressure Transient Logger" is capable of sampling 20 time faster at 20 reading per second. The Pressure Transient logger can record up to 2 million readings, which allows plenty of scope to capture the offending surges without previously knowing when they are likely to occur within the day.
Water hammer effects can be easily analysed in the special purpose application "Transient View" software module operating in conjunction with the popular RadWin software.
