A Winning combination

Radcom and Palmer Environmental jointly hosted two more new product seminars in two Glasgow football stadiums on 10 & 11 May 2005. The events were hosted by Mike Tennant and Steve Grainger from Palmer, and Michael Firth from Radcom.

Radcom's new "LoLog Vista" data logger (similar to the established LoLogLL) has been introduced with an integral LCD Display, which is permanently showing either pressure or flow on single channel loggers, or toggling between both inputs on dual channel versions, and can still achieve a 5 year battery life.

Radcom's MultiLog SMSLite logger based on the proven MultiLog engine offers a lower cost basic logger for simple 1 or 2 digital flow input applications.

Michael Firth also outlined the proposed interface between Radcom loggers and the BBL telemetry servers to offer fault tolerance and greater reliability using PSTN or GSM telemetry techniques. SMS is planned to be integrated but inherently cannot provide the same degree of fault tolerance for critical application sites.

After a successful morning seminar, where new products and new applications were discussed, a tour of the stadium was replaced with the opportunity to watch a match between two reserve teams. Michael and Steve
Glasgow1 On the second day, again after an other successful morning seminar, a tour of the stadium proved very popular. We were taken through VIP reception rooms, Changing rooms, Trophy room and around the pitch.
The sun held out for a second day, giving ideal photo opportunities for all. Glasgow2
